It used to be called pim17. You’ll see that in the git history.
Now it’s PorkAlpine. It’s pronounced like porcupine, based on Alpine Linux, and with a strong focus on amateur radio (‘ham’ radio).
It quickly grew beyond M17 so the old name no longer made sense, and I like terrible names.
